Eulalio "Lalo" Elizarraraz

Eulalio Elizarraraz, 29 of Carpentersville passed away unexpectedly on June 19, 2017.

He was born in Mexico on August 2, 1987 to Rafael and Maria (Soto) Elizarraraz.

He was a truly remarkable, inspiring, and bright life gone too soon. 

It is with a heavy heart that we mourn the sudden loss of a son, brother, father, friend- Eulalio Elizarraraz. His family, friends, and community members are all mourning the loss of this amazing young man.

Eulalio was the light of any room he walked into.  His infectious, beautiful bright smile, and laugh is one you will never forget.  Lalo never met a stranger.  Whether you knew him for ten years or ten minutes, you would walk away feeling as if you had known him forever.  Lalo's love for his family, faith, and friends is something you do not see every day.  His impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing him or seeing him in passing will forever remain. 

Life will never be the same without Lalo but he would want us all to remember the positive legacy he left behind and know that he is looking down on all of us with that unforgettable smile.

A celebration of life and gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, June 23, 2017 from 4-8pm at the Schneider Leucht Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, 1211 N. Seminary Ave. in Woodstock.  A memorial funeral mass will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 10am at St. Thomas the Apostle, 453 Pierson St. in Crystal Lake.  Burial will follow at Crystal Lake Memorial Park Cemetery, 8000 Ridgefield Rd. in Crystal Lake.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Lalo’s family.
