Elsie May Rosenquist Obituary

Elsie May Rosenquist passed away at Hearthstone Manor on Thursday, April 12th, following a courageous fight with Parkinson’s disease.

Elsie was born on November 11, 1935 in Barrington, IL to Andrew & Meta-Wilamena and grew up on a farm with her brothers and sisters. She married Lester Rosenquist on May 15, 1954. She enjoyed working as a waitress, loved to bake in her spare time and couldn’t get enough of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Elsie was an avid Bunco player and enjoyed crafting. She was passionate about family, friends and love.

Elsie is survived by her daughter, Deborah Sue (John) Bishop; son, Alan Lloyd (Sue); and sister Marion (Jack) Blow; grandchildren, Melissa (Christine), Michael (Jennifer), and Brian (Jennifer); and great-grandchildren, Jimmy and Lexi.

 Elsie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and brothers, Orville, Kenneth, Vern and a sister, Laverne.

 Visitation will be held at the Schneider Leucht Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, 1211 N. Seminary Ave., Woodstock, IL 60098 on Sunday, April 15th from 1:00 to 4:00 pm, with a 3:00 pm service.
