Dorothy C. Jagodzinski
April 18, 1921 ~ August 24, 2017 (age 96) 96 Years OldDorothy C. Jagodzinski 96, of Woodstock formerly of Lemont, died Thursday August 24, 2017 at Hearthstone Manor in Woodstock.
She was born in Lemont on April 18, 1921 to Stanley and Rose nee Lukaszewski Nickleski. She married Sylvester Jagodzinski on May 24, 1941.
She was a faithful member of St Cyril Methodius Catholic Church in Lemont until 1991 when she moved to Woodstock and became a member at St. Mary Catholic Church in Woodstock. She worked as a seamstress for a company that repaired military uniforms. She also worked as a Beautician. She enjoyed music and playing the organ and piano.
She is survived by a daughter, Marcia (John) Seiler; a son, Anthony (Laurie) Jacobs; a grandson, Michael A. (Julia) Seiler; 3 siblings, Genevieve White, Norbert Nickleski, and Ronald (Patricia) Nickleski.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband; also, two brothers Eugene and Stanley.
The visitation will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church 312 Lincoln Ave. Woodstock starting at 9:00 am until the Funeral Mass at 10:00 am on Thursday August 31, 2017. Interment will be in St. Cyril Methodius Catholic Cemetery in Lemont.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Guardian Angel Fund at St. Mary Catholic Church.
