David M. Moran

David M. Moran, 36, of Poplar Grove passed away on August 31, 2017 at his home.

He was born June 14, 1981 in Woodstock to Terry M. and Gail (Kramka) Moran of Poplar Grove.

David had a great many interests in life.  He loved playing the guitar and learning tricks on his BMX bike.  He was an artist, and enjoyed working on his computer and playing role-playing video games.  He enjoyed exploring the great outdoors near his home, and after Little League, fishing became his sport of choice.  He loved the family cats, and all animals tame and wild.  David was ecstatic about his car, and would just go for rides, it did not matter to where, it was about the ride.

He is survived by his parents, Terry and Gail Moran of Poplar Grove; a sister, Kimberly (William) Chrisman; his nephews, Trevor and Finnley Chrisman; his grandmother, Lella Kramka; aunts and uncles, Roxanne Moran, Kem Moran, Lee and Nancy Kramka, Lane Kramka, Clay Kramka, Susan Nell; and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Kenneth Moran and Albert Kramka; grandmother, Carol Shickle; an uncle, David Nell, and an aunt Debbie Whitecotton.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at the Schneider Leucht Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, 1211 N. Seminary Avenue, Woodstock, IL from 4:00 pm until the Funeral Service at 7:00 pm  Interment service will be private.

Memorials may be made to the family.
