Caryl L. Montgomery

Caryl Lynne Montgomery, 69, of Woodstock, passed away on June 30, 2019.

Caryl was born in Sandwich Illinois on February 8, 1950 to Charles and Charlene (Strode) Montgomery.

Caryl attended Woodstock schools, and graduated in 1968.  She worked for Peet Frate Lines for over 30 years.  After retirement, Caryl worked at the Hallmark store in Woodstock.

Caryl was active at Grace Lutheran Church in Woodstock, serving the senior luncheons, Lenten soup luncheons, book club, various Bible studies, and the Pre-School Board.  Caryl was also a board member of the Woodstock Public Library.

Caryl is survived by her sister, Carma Bomar of Woodbridge, VA; brothers, Clark (Candy) of Blue Springs, MO., Craig (Gail) of Woodstock, and Chris (Barb) of Chicago.  She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister in law, Pamela.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday, July 5, 2019 at the Grace Lutheran Church, 1300 Kishwaukee Valley Road, Woodstock from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am Memorial Service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to either Grace Lutheran Pre-School, 1300 Kishwaukee Valley Road, Woodstock; or, Woodstock Public Library, 414 W. Judd St., Woodstock.
