Betty Kayse, 62, of Woodstock, passed away March 8th, 2018 at Loyola University Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on May 3rd, 1955 in Carlton, MN., to Melvin and Twyla (Hackensmith) Puotinen . She married the late Charles Kayse on March 20, 1976.
Betty was a school bus driver for District 200 for many years which she immensely enjoyed. She loved spending time with her family and friends playing cards, watching game shows and. Betty was able to make friends anywhere she went and would do anything for anyone in need.
She is survived by her daughters; Cristal (Thomas Sr.) McMillan and Cammi (Nicholas Sutton) Kayse, grandchildren; Holly McMillan, Bryttani, Brandon and Bradley Surma, T.J. McMillan and Louis Sutton, nephew, Brian (Crystal) Puotinen, many great-grandchildren, sisters; Beverly (John) Dial and Brenda Barr and sister-in-law Karen Puotinen.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, infant son Charles Kayse, a brother Brian Puotinen and sister Barbara Puotinen.
A celebration on life will be held on March 29, 2018 at The Club House at the Sonatas, 645 Handel Ln., Woodstock, IL 60098.
