Gail Sherman Obituary
Gail L. Sherman, age 86, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2024, at JourneyCare Hospice in Barrington, IL.
She was born on July 4, 1937, to William Dean Mathews and Marie E. Mathews (Dunbar) in Whitewater, Wisconsin.
Gail graduated from Woodstock High School Class of 1955. Most recently she worked at Door Township as a Data Entry Associate. She was a volunteer at Helping Paws in Crystal Lake, IL and fostered many dogs and cats from that facility. Gail loved spending her spare time taking her grandchildren on day trips and vacations. She loved spending her holidays with her family. She was an avid crocheter.
She is survived by her son, Randy L. (Linda) Redman, grandsons, Ryan and Jordan (Sorina) Redman and 3 great grandchildren, Domanic, Nora and Loreena; a brother, William R. Mathews and many nieces and nephews.
Gail was preceded in death by her parents.
There will be a private service for immediate family.
