Robert I Sherman

Robert I. Sherman, age 63, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2016.

He was born on April 2, 1953 to Arthur and Shirley (Biller) Sherman.  He married Celeste Bugay on November 26, 1978 in Northbrook.

Robert loved flying and was working on obtaining his private pilot license.  He was proud of building aircrafts and the parts he made for them.  When he liked something he was passionate about it.  He was very passionate about separation of church and state issues.  But, most of all, he loved his family.

He is survived by his wife, Celeste Sherman; his children, Richard (Shaun Lang) Sherman, and Dawn Sherman; his brother, Jonathan (Fran) Sherman; his sister-in-law, Shelley Sherman; as well as several nieces, nephews, and very close friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Jeremy Sherman.

A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2016 from 3-9pm at the Schaumburg Regional Airport, 905 W. Irving Park Rd., Schaumburg, IL 60193.
