I will never forget my childhood friend who has been through more than anyone else I know, and who is also the sweetest, most generous, most uplifting friend I know. Brigid, I am assured knowing you have lived a fulfilling life, that you truly lived like there may not be a tomorrow, and that, my friend, is an inspiration to us all. I am comforted knowing you are home and that your body will be restored to that which God intended. You are greatly missed, yet we all know, and love, the impact you have left on even the least of us that remains.
The stories of Joanne, and of now of Brigid, will continue in my family for a very long time.

Brigid sometimes life throws us things that are hard to understand.  As a young child you faced these things with an open spirit and a gentle heart.  As a young woman you became one of the kindest people I ever knew.  With your amazing red hair and your beautiful smile you loved each day to the fullest and saw joy in the small things.  You had such a generous nature even as a little girl.  You will be missed terribly and loved even more.  As you dance with the angels may God hold you in the palm if his hand.  Until we meet again, love Aunt Kathy and uncle David.

Brigid you have been through so much in your young life.  God gives us tests in life and you have had more than your fair share of struggles.  You faced all of this with courage and your faith in God.  I remember soon after you were diagnosed with MS your mother told me you had asked her what it is like to die.  Your mom told you then that whichever one dies first will come back and tell the other.  I'm sure your mother has been by your side these past two weeks to show you God's glory and prepare you for you're next journey.  We will miss you Brigid but we know you are now safe in your mother's arms with God's light shining on you.   Love Aunt Susan, Uncle Billy, Stephen, Katie, Sarah, & James Neal

My father told me that before my Brigid passed away, she simply wanted three things: a puppy, a child, and Colorado. These simple wishes were not granted, as time grew short far too soon. I wish I could have been there before she passed, but I know she was thinking of me in that time. Brigid may not have been my biological mother, but she was as loving and caring as anyone could be. She certainly didn't deserve this. But I hope I at least partially fulfilled one of her wishes. I hope I was the son she always wanted. God bless you Brigid. I love you.

I'm not sure if I have the right family, but I served in the Marines with Bill Buzzard. I would like to express our deep sympathy on the loss of Brigid. If this is the same Bill Buzzard please contact me. Again I'm very sorry for your loss.

Sweet Brigid, you have always been so happy and vivacious! Even as a young girl with the beautiful locks of red hair like you mother, you were always smiling! You had such determination and strength like your father and you have so many people who love and supported you. I will miss your beautiful smile and your warm heart my beautiful niece!
You are in your loving mother's arms now and we grieve here but know she has you with her now. Michael and Billy my heart cries for the deep loss this is for you and all of us that loved Brigid so much. Now we must all find the strength that Brigid showed us every day. My prayers and love are with you both! Love, Sharon

Brigid, I cannot begin to tell you the joy you brought into my life. I was there when you were born and the first thing you saw when you opened your eyes. From then on you were always my special Brigid. Your strength fighting Multiple Sclerosis has always been an inspiration to me. You were so strong when your Mother passed away. I was so proud of you and the strength you gave me during this most difficult time in our lives. My love for you will never end. You and Mike had the perfect marriage. I have never seen a couple so in love and happy. I miss you so much already and my heart aches that you are not here with me and Mike.
